STOCKHOLM

my initial reaction to SWEDEN was if CANADA and JAPAN had a baby. i know that would never happen. though it was funny to think about, but seriously.

SWEDEN is a wonderful place. it wasn't too cold when i arrived but has been getting colder and colder the longer i have stayed in STOCKHOLM. it is a clean and safe city that feels like a big town. the transportation is simple but expensive and takes you anywhere within the city and to the airport with no problems. the city itself stretches over 14 different islands so there are a lot of bridges and tunnels. i have been hearing how beautiful it is during the summer months, but i can only imagine. bike lanes and pedestrian streets are very common and cars seem like a minority here, which is a breath of fresh air coming from MOSCOW, which has a huge amount of MACHINAS.
