AMSTERDAM

THE NETHERLANDERS have a beautiful city here in AMSTERDAM. the design of the waterways makes it virtually impossible to have a car inside the center ring, which means riding your bicycle is the easiest way to get around the city. the second best way is with your boat! the water is like ventricles coming off of the heart. if you follow the water you can get anywhere, but it is very easy to get turned around and lose your sense of direction. for me, the idea of driving a boat around a city is very futuristic, i have to hand it to the DUTCH for their ingenuity.
