AKIHABARA OTAKU

today i rode out to ELECTRIC TOWN. besides having the most electronic stores in the universe, AKIHABARA is also home to some of the weirdest behavior i have seen in a while. i stumbled upon a scene of wanna be popstars. the performers were all young girls (Moé) and their fans were all old men (Otaku). the performers were lined up side by side next to the train station and each had their own little PA system. it was a bit creepy to say the least. and after taking pictures of them taking pictures i started to think i was being a little creepy myself so i had to get out of there. then i randomly walked into a video game/anime store and was invited up to the top floor. a bunch of people were there waiting for a press conference to take place for a singer's debut single. i ran out as soon as she started singing. WOW.
